Judo Gokyo is for all those who want to learn, develop or teach the 40 basic techniques of judo.

Whether you are a beginner or a black belt, you always want to make every effort to improve your style : style reflects much better than the result, the value of judoka.

To find a technique by typing its name.
To find a group of techniques containing the same word.

Mode "Quiz" is a test for your memory. Test your knowledge and put the techniques in the corresponding kyu.
To answer the Quiz by typing the name of the technique.
Synchronizing the Quiz using iCloud Drive.

Listen to the names of the techniques in their original language, Japanese.
Listen to the referee penalizing you during the quiz.
Hold on a gokyo technique to get a zoom effect.

Stay up-to-date with the latest news from clubs, federations, and institutes that you care about around the world with the RSS reader included with this release. Judo Gokyo comes with some feeds so you only have to activate it in the preferences to start being informed of the selected news. Add feeds that interest you personally.

This is a fantastic app and I have learned a lot from it. With the new update it works fully with OS 4.X and is an excellent tool t work on your forms.

This is great! When are we going to get the 20 new throws, ground work, arm bars, and chokes? I would be willing to pay another $10 for these.

A great app but the recent update to integrate the gokyo and newaza does not work. Gokyo is now not working at all.

Some bad moments

i cant beleive I paid for this app for my son , the videos inside are good for learning the throws but what about holds ,pins , combos ect,who needs a quiz! Mike Swain light has more content,and its free,unless an update comes with more content dont waste your money!!!!!!!!!

Noone update that application. We payed 9 dolars but we cant use it!!!!

on my iPhone 3G this app, which is fairly well designed, abruptly exits each time I play one of the video clips

Just wish there was a extra info such as rules and vocabulary etc

Ok app. Should be able to close videos before its over. Needs a kata update for this price. Rules and moves updates should ne included. This app should be $1.99 at most. Wish I could get money back.

Needs the American name of the moves with the Japanese name. And being able to send the videos would be great. Also more moves. But is a great start
